    Open outlook... Then you will be prompted to type a profile if this is Out-of-box experience of outlook.. Type a name and hit ok.



    Then select manually setup or additional server setup option



    Then select POP or IMAP



    At this point you must already enabled gmail settings for pop or IMAP. For this demonstration i will use POP.



    In 1, 3 Type a display name and full gmail address and gmail password..Click on more settings..




    Click on general tab..Put your gmail address as reply to mail..



    Go to out going server and select use same settings as my incoming mail server



    Go to advanced option and type 995 as POP3 port and 465 as SMTP port..Put a tick on this server requires an encrypted connection and select SSL for SMTP.



    Hit next...You are almost done...

    Thanks for the tutorial. I just setup outlook because a lot of my friends say it's the best for email. We just got a brand new desktop pc and have been confused with outlook and it's tutorial on setting up gmail.
